The Jalisco Journey
Our first trip to Jalisco was life-changing. Dad had been talking about visiting the heart of tequila country for years, and when we finally made it happen, I understood why. Walking through those endless blue agave fields with him, listening to his stories about the jimadores and the ancient traditions - it was like seeing the world through his eyes.
He knew every distillery owner, every master distiller. Watching him taste tequila was like watching an artist at work. That's when I realized I wanted to capture that same passion, but in my own way - through mocktails that honor the agave spirit.

Lou Agave isn't just my dad - he's a walking encyclopedia of tequila knowledge. For nearly two decades, he's been collecting, tasting, and sharing his passion for authentic agave spirits. His Instagram is filled with rare bottles, distillery visits, and the kind of expertise you can only get from decades of dedication.
He taught me that respecting the agave plant and the people who craft these spirits is just as important as enjoying them. Every mocktail I create is inspired by his reverence for this ancient tradition.

While dad continues to explore the world of premium tequilas, I'm building on his foundation with Dan Agave's Mocktails. We're two generations united by our love for agave, each expressing it in our own way. He's the tequila legend, and I'm the mocktail innovator.
